Synopsis for the long island and connecticut coastal waters.. A warm front will struggle to pass east of the waters today, followed by a cold frontal passage this afternoon into this evening. High pressure otherwise controls the weather through most of Saturday. A cold front then moves through Sunday night into Monday morning, then stalls south of the region.
